Angolan President João Lourenço Inspects Three Projects Undertaken by CITIC Construction in Luanda

On February 8, 2018, President João Lourenço of Angola led Governor of Luanda Province Adriano Carvalho and leaders from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Geology, Mines and Industry, the Ministry of Territorial Planning and Housing, the Ministry of Energy and Water, the Ministry of Education and other relevant ministries and departments to inspect three projects undertaken by CITIC Construction in Luanda, namely, the Angolan National Tourist Resort project, the K.K.5000 RED project and the Zango 8000 Red housing project. The relevant leaders of Africa Division of CITIC Construction accompanied the inspection.

The President and his delegation arrived at the site of national tourist resort project at 10:30 a.m. of the same day. The proprietor representative made a related report. After then, the President and his delegation inspected the K.K.5000 RED project and asked about the drainage in the project area.

At 12:00 a.m., the President and his delegation arrived at the site of Zango 8000 Red housing project. They went to the middle school and the kindergarten to inspect the construction and completion of public buildings. The President also went to the model house opposite to the kindergarten, examined it for a while and asked many specific details with great interest. He believed that the social housing project undertaken by CITIC Construction is comfortable, safe and beautiful, and it stands as a model for Angolan housing projects.

The President was very delighted after the overall inspection and shook hands with members of the welcoming team of CITIC Construction upon his departure.
