Proprietor of Myanmar 230KV Substation Expansion Project in Yangon Issues Operational Acceptance Certificate to CITIC Construction

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the proprietor of Myanmar 230KV Substation Expansion Project in Yangon, issued the operational acceptance certificate to CITIC Construction on April 9, 2018.

On March 14, 2018, the project proprietor organized completion acceptance at the site for all the contents on the contract, including the 66kV GIS control buildings, two 230kV, 125 MVA three-phase transformers, 10 66kV cable outlets, power distribution unit of the main transformer, main transformer structure, emergency oil pond and roads in the substation area. The above items all met the completion acceptance standard.

On December 28, 2017, the Myanmar 230KV Substation Extension Project in Yangon was completed through the hard efforts of the Asia-Pacific Regional Division of CITIC Construction for more than 400 days, which showed the realization of the solemn commitments CITIC Construction has made to the proprietor. The project was completed eight months ahead of the contracted date.
