On May 8th, 2018, Wang Jiong, Vice Chairman and President of CITIC Group Corporation, met in Minsk with Andrei Kobyakov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.
Andrei Kobyakov expressed his appreciation for the practical style and high sense of responsibility that CITIC Group Corporation has shown in Belarus over the past decade, and believed that CITIC Group Corporation will be capable of carrying out more large-scale projects in the fields of agriculture, petrochemicals and industry in Belarus in the future.
President Wang Jiong said that CITIC Group Corporation will take every project seriously as always and make solid progress. Meanwhile, CITIC Group Corporation will continue to deepen and broaden the cooperation with Belarus relying on scientific and technological progress and innovation awareness.
During the meeting, Belarusian Minister of Economy Vladimir Zinovsky issued a permit to Chen Xiaojia, Chairman of CITIC Construction, to start the agro-industrial complex project, which was witnessed by President Wang Jiong and Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, .
