EPC Contract Framework for the Autazes Project Signed by CITIC Construction and Brazil Potash Corporation

On November 14, 2019, witnessed by Robson Andrade, President of the National Confederation of Industry and Alexander, Deputy Minister of Mines and Energy of Brazil, Tao Yang, President of CITIC Construction and Stan Bharti, Chairman of Brazil Potash Corporation signed an EPC contract framework for the Autazes project on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit.

Speaking highly of CITIC Construction’s achievements in developing the Brazilian market, Robson Andrade stressed the importance of the Autazes project in ensuring food security and agricultural development in Brazil.

“CITIC Construction has always attached great importance to the Brazilian market,” said Tao Yang, adding that “CITIC Construction, taking the Autazes project as a new starting point, will also continue to develop agriculture, energy, infrastructure and other fields in Brazil.”

Piao Bo and Yang Jianqiang, Vice Presidents of CITIC Construction, were present at the signing ceremony.
