On November 4, 2021, the final of 2021 English Proficiency Competition themed “the centenary ushers in the prime of life and striving to create our future” was hosted by CITIC Construction Labor Union and H.R. Department. This was the first time that the competition had been conducted online. Chen Xiaojia, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company, watched the live broadcast and delivered a speech, and Li Ling, Chairman of the Labor Union, also gave a speech before the competition. More than 600 staff at home and abroad participated in the event through the “CITIC Construction Training Academy” learning platform.

On April 15, CITIC Construction Labor Union invited experts from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospitals to provide occupational health guidance for staff members. Volunteers from the Comprehensive Administration Department of the Domestic Business Division provided services for the event.

On December 11th, 2018, CITIC Construction Labour Union hosted the final of English proficiency competition which is themed on working with talented builders of the new era. Six contestants from different units competed against each other with their skills in English public speech and business knowledge. Chen Xiaojia, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of CITIC Construction, attended and addressed the award ceremony. The leaders of the company including Liang Chuanxin, Fan Zheng, Hu Ping, Li Ling, Liu Shuchuan and Yan Li presented the awards to the winners. More than 60 people from all departments attended this event to cheer for their contestants.

On March 25, over 300 people including family members of CITIC Construction staff participated in a walking assembly in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing.

CITIC Construction held a series of activities to convey greetings to its female employees on March 8, or the International Women's Day.

From July 7th to 9th, 2016, CITIC Construction successfully held staff training for 40 new comers. As a major project of "Fangyuan Plan", a CITIC Construction training system, contents including enterprise culture, development history, business situation, overseas security, professional quality and teamwork were taught systematically at the training. The training provided important theoretical and practical guidance for new staff so that they can more profoundly and comprehensively understand CITIC as well as get into respective work roles more quickly.

From July 9th to 11th, 2015, CITIC Construction conducted the training for 39 new staff. Leaders including Li Shizhou, Advisor to Chairman of CITIC Construction, Li Ling, Union President and Secretary for Disciplinary Inspection, and Peng Ming, Assistant President, respectively carried out systematic training on such aspects as enterprise culture, development history, business situation, overseas security, professional quality and teamwork. In addition, via the three-day training, new staff fully felt the warmth of CITIC's "family culture". All new staff expressed that the training has enhanced their understanding and recognition of CITIC Construction, and set clear goals for them.

From October 24th to 26th, 2014, the Human Resources Department of CITIC Construction and the Venezuela National Region of CITIC Construction jointly organized the 2014 training camp of sunshine project for staff in Venezuela under the theme of “Heart Energy & New Growth” at the Tiuna Social Housing Project site. Liang Chuanxin, Vice President of CITIC Construction and General Manager of Latin American Region, Li Ling, Assistant President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Liu Bingxin, Assistant President and Deputy General Manager of Latin American Region and Yang Henghui, Assistant President joined this training camp throughout the process. Over 60 people from the Venezuela National Region participated in this training.

On March 31st, 2014, CITIC Construction initiated the staff training on The Series of Courses on Overseas Personal Safety Protection of Multimedia Business Academy.

On the threshold of Chinese traditional Spring Festival, CITIC Construction Angola Social Housing Project Department held the first Spring Festival performance for workers on Jan.26, 2011 to express greetings to more than 1000 Chinese worker brothers who were still fighting on the construction front during Spring Festival.
