Situated in Shenzhou Peninsula, Wanning City, Hainan Province, the project is a key tourism development project of the province with a planned land area of 18 square kilometers and a total building area of 4.06 million square meters.
Since October 2009, CITIC Construction has participated in the construction of the whole peninsula as the general contractor. As of the first half year of 2013, CITIC Construction has completed the construction of Sunny Coastal Apartment Building, Golf Club and Sports Building, Golf Villa, Beach Club, badminton court, swimming pool, Royal Coastal Sales Center, Star Joy Coastal Apartment, decoration of Royal Coastal Apartment and other related projects. Now CITIC Construction is working on the Royal Joy Hotel Apartment.
