In November 2000, CITIC Construction signed the contract for Tianjin Haihe Bridge Project.With a total length of 2,650 meters (including a bridge structure length of 2,230 meters), the Haihe Bridge had the longest span among all single-tower cable-stayed steel and concrete bridge at that time in China and ranked the first place in Asia and the third place in the world among bridges of the same kind.
