On October 17, the Belt and Road CEO Conference,the opening event of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was hold at China National Convention Center at Beijing. Focusing on the theme of “building high quality Belt and Road initiative, and joining hands for common development and prosperity”, CEOs had in-depth exchanged and announced the Beijing Declaration on the Belt and Road CEO Conference. He Lifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the conference and delivered a speech.
After the opening ceremony, the conference held a signing ceremony. On behalf of the company, Yang Jianqiang, executive deputy general manager of CITIC Construction, signed cooperation agreements on five projects, including social housing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, AI Khairat Heavy Oil Power Station in Iraq, Koungheul Soda Plant Phase III in Uzbekistan, Special Rolling Mill in Kazakhstan, and Isolated Slaughtering Site of Live Animals in Alashankou City, with the contracted amount exceeding 7 billion US dollars, involving social housing, energy and chemical industry, advanced materials, processing trade of livestock products and other fields.
